Finally replaced my cracked and bent wheels. Seems strange to see the car with different wheels on it, as I had the last ones before the car was even in Michigan.

October Clean
Well it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here. Just washed it up. Was supposed to go to Cedar Point with the Michigan Mini club, but I’m stuck working today. 🙁
Here’s some fresh images:

Hamann eBrake handle and Custom Squirrel Center Caps
FINALLY! Finally! Finally! The Hamann Aluminum Emergency Brake Handle FINALLY arrived today. This was ordered back in Feb or March I think. I’ve been driving with a half removed/broken handle for the last few months.
AND my custom ordered wheel center caps from Aesthetic Creations came today too! I had them do my “Hamman” Squirrel logo on them in silver with the rest black. They look great! Got the front two on today, probably do the rears tomorrow and maybe try to do the BBK for the rear too.
No comments about the brake dust please, I need to buy a wheel brush! 🙂 -
Jan Tune Results and Disney ‘Cars’ window shade
Jan from Revolution Motor Works was in town this weekend doing Dyno tunes at Monkey Wrench Racing, so you know I got one. With all my mods, before he started it ran just over 200 HP on the Dyno. Final results from some Fuel/Air ratio and other tweaks:
208.5 Whp and
170.1 FtLb of torque on a nice fat curve. They weren’t able to give me the digital graphs, so here is a scan of the print out. I had to enhance the lines to make them visible:
Also picked up a State Farm Disney ‘Cars’ Sunshade. It came with red eyes (as Lightning McQueen). I trimmed it down and painted it black (like everything else 🙂 )
And for those that want to know, here’s the paints I used: Pactra Lexan RC Car body paint, and basic Rustoleum Plastic paint:
I ran out of the Pactra paint so I finished it off with the other. Once it dries, I’m going to go over the creases with a fresh black Sharpie marker to get rid of all the red peeks.
Here it is in Chakik: A bit too tall still, need to trim it.

Whalen Shift Machine Custom Knob
I’ve got a new knob! Doug Whalen of Whalen Shift Machine not only did an AMAZING job on it, but I got in in two days! I probably shouldn’t be as exicited as I am about a new shift knob, but this is the first step on my interior upgrades. (Techincally the fourth, if you count the Craven Shift Well Cover, Hamann Pedal set and the blacked out down tubes that I painted)

Hamman after Hamann logo
I’ve been toying around with making a custom Hamman logo for myself. Using the Hamann logo for inspiration I came up with this:
I wanted it to have the same feel as the Hamann one, but obviously with a squirrel 🙂
Here’s what its going to look like on my Whalen shift nob

BBK painted and spacers
Today was a busy day. I painted the rusted rotors on my Detroit Tuned Big Brake Kit. Also put in spacers on the wheels (5mm up front and 15 in the back). Now I have to wait for the suspension to settle back in to see if the rears will rub or not.
Also blacked out the 3rd tail light and painted the backs of the gas tanks and exhaust shield black. 🙂 -
Right back at it
Well, not being one to leave anything alone. I repainted my side markers (inner bits blue) and blacked out the “S” part, replacing the red sticker with a blue one I got at the dragon.

Under Bonnet Done
The red hoses for the headlight washers came today, so I’m pretty much set for the Dragon now, at least for today 🙂 Also got my cowl scoops installed. Not sure if I’m going to keep them or not.
