The car and I mostly survived another MOTD. Ohio chipped my windshield on the way down. And we lost power for a little over a day in Fontana Village and some crazy winds that took out several trees. Otherwise it was beautiful as always. Great friends, great drives, great times!

Dragon! Dragon! Dragon!
T-Minus one week until MOTD 14! I have three dragon posters available this year; a few copies of the generic Dragon poster from last year, a MOTD14 specific one, and a Brew Swap poster as well. These will be available at the Dragon first, any left overs will be available at the store here. If you are interested but can’t make the dragon, please contact me. MOTD13 Custom Poster
So what began as a custom R53 poster for myself due to mismatched poster sizes at home has turned into a custom Minis on the Dragon 13 poster. I am considering making these availble in a limited (25-50) print run via a kickstarter campaign.
The text I wrote says: “11 Miles

This is why we driveThe Dragon. It’s all about that feeling you get. The smile on your face when you press the pedal down. The pop and burble from the exhaust as you brake into a sharp turn. Minis on the Dragon 11
We made it back, barely, from MOTD 11. Had fantastic weather while we where there all week until saturday and sunday. The car show was not only miserable to be at, but a miserable turn out. I won’t be entering it again, as its really just a popularity contest now, and whomever’s club has the most people show up wins. Yes, I’m bitter.
Otherwise we had a fantastic time, met some sweet new people, and reconnected with out of state friends. See you all again next year!

MINIs on the Dragon 10
We survived! (Barely this year…)
Connie, Amy and I had a fantastic time (dare I say EPIC?) at MINIs on the Dragon 10! It was amazing to see everyone again and make some new friends as well. We were somewhat anti-social this year (surprise, I know 😉 but still really enjoyed the entire time.For some reason the crappy free 3D image software I have inverts the images when it saves them. For the best 3D viewing, flip your glasses upside down (red on your right eye). No idea why it does this.

Survived the Dragon
Well the wife and the dogs (and myself) all survived the Dragon. We had a fantastic time, met some amazing people, and drove our brains out.
I had entered the car show, and overall am pretty happy with the scores I received. Got a 9/10 for the engine which was awesome!
