Mostly Survived MOTD13
We mostly survived this years MINIs on the Dragon. Had a great time as always except for the window-tint/no front markers ticket on the way down. The officer was a total jerk and mad that our group was not speeding so he decided he had to write up someone, I was that lucky someone.
Then on the way home we stopped for some BBQ north of Cincinnati, and the steep angled driveway ruined my bumper. Yay.

We are officially registered for Minis on the Mack. For sure we will be bringing 2, and if we can find another driver, all 3 of our cars. We will be doing our part to help break the record, what about you?

Koni shocks for my R52
Finally! So after many years of my tires rubbing over the slightest bumps due to being lowered, I am having Detroit Tuned put a set of Koni Yellow shocks on the car before this years dragon. Not sure why we waited so long for this one, its one of the very few stock parts that remained on the car, and one that actually needed upgrading. Looking forward to seeing how it handles at the Dragon this year. See you there!

[button color=”red”] $42[/button] 5 switch toggle panel (ASC, so I assume this was from an 06) bought to install foglights but never used it
[button color=”red”] SOLD[/button] MINI branded shoulder belt pads, pair, brand new
[button color=”red”] $75[/button] Set of 4 TPMS These were removed from a set of wheels I bought to put winter tires on.
[button color=”red”] SOLD[/button] Ashtray insert, brand new
[button color=”red”] $30[/button] Vent Gauge Insert (one available). These replace the vents in the dash and can hold extra gauges. Because Racecar.

Rocketman and Superleggera MINIs may make production
According to an Automobile Magazine article, the Superleggera concept may actually see production as well as the Rocketman, now rebranded as the MINI Minor. Both look amazing and I want them.
